Brother Paul Scott and I are scheduled to leave for Vietnam tomorrow, October 25th. We are scheduled to speak and teach on the English Language and the advantages to an upcoming English learner of reading the King James Bible. We have already seen some real excitement among many of the students.
Perhaps we will get a chance to post from there.
As something of a Cartier fan myself, I had the pleasure of leading the conversation alongside Pierre Rainero, Cartier's esteemed Image, Style, and Heritage Director, and Yann link Guillemot, the Product and Service Director. For aficionados of the brand, link it was a rare treat to connect with those who play an active link role in shaping Cartier's future.
The most recent split-seconds contender to emerge from the shores of Lake Geneva is the Traditionnelle link Split-Seconds Chronograph Ultra-Thin link from Vacheron Constantin, shown at Watches & Wonders 2021. Part of the brand's hyper-exclusive Collection Excellence Platine, this link is a platinum monopusher split-seconds chronograph featuring a self-winding movement with a peripheral rotor.
The only other limit I put on my collection was trying to choose one watch per brand per link decade, and really choosing a watch that, to me, defines that brand and defined link that decade: '50s Rolex, '60s Heuer, '70s AP, '80s and link '90s Cartier (whoops), and modern Tudor.
